Dog Training (Coming Soon)
Where happy dogs learn, play, and grow
At Pawsome Park & Lodge, we believe every dog deserves to feel confident, well-behaved, and understood. Training services will begin following our grand opening in early August. We plan to initially offer private one-on-one training sessions and consultations. As our training program grows, we'll survey members to determine interest in group classes and specialty programs so we can build a schedule around the needs of our community.
We prioritize positive reinforcement, reward-based learning, management, and clear communication to help dogs learn in a way that builds confidence and trust. Because every dog and owner team is unique, training plans are customized to individual goals, learning styles, and circumstances. During private consultations, we can discuss the tools, techniques, and strategies that may be appropriate for your specific situation.

Our training philosophy is based on LIMA — Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive — principles. We prioritize positive reinforcement, reward-based learning, thoughtful management, and clear communication to help dogs learn in a way that builds confidence and trust.
No fear, no force, no shutting a dog down — just methods that build a dog who wants to work with you. Because every dog-and-owner team is unique, training plans are customized to your goals and your dog's learning style. During private consultations, we map out the exact tools and techniques for your situation.

Our lead trainer is Timmy Ziuzin, General Manager of Pawsome Park & Lodge. Timmy is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, an AKC Family Dog Program Evaluator, and a Certified Trick Dog Instructor, and is currently pursuing additional education in Applied Animal Behavior.
This is not a part-timer who took a weekend course. Timmy brings deep experience training, handling, competing, and titling dogs across obedience, agility, conformation, scent sports, nose work, shed hunting, trick training, and canine enrichment. As demand grows, we will add specialists for advanced classes — but you are starting with a credentialed, competition-proven trainer.

Both. We plan to offer private one-on-one training, puppy socialization programs, group classes, workshops, and specialty seminars. Available options will expand as new programs are introduced based on member interest.
Want focused, customized work? Go private. Want your dog learning around the distraction of other dogs? Go group. You are not locked into one format — you pick what fits your dog and your goals.

While some future training programs may open to non-members, Pawsome members receive priority access to training opportunities, events, and specialty programs. Membership is the best way to guarantee your spot and get the most value from our training offerings.
Classes have limited seats. When a popular program opens, members book first — non-members take whatever is left, if anything. If training is part of why you are here, membership is the way to make sure you actually get in.
Guarantee your seat — join Pawsome today.

Pricing and program length vary by service. Private lessons, group classes, workshops, and behavior modification programs each have different structures and goals. Final pricing and program details will be announced closer to launch and will continue to expand based on member interest — and members will hear first, at member rates.

That depends on the program. Some classes are designed specifically for young puppies, while others are built for adolescent, adult, or advanced dogs. Whether your dog is just getting started or working toward advanced titles, we will help you find the program that best matches your goals.
It is never too early and rarely too late. Puppies build a foundation; older dogs absolutely learn new tricks. We will point you to the right starting line.
Not sure where your dog fits? Join and ask our trainer — we will guide you.
