Indoor Dog Park Rules & Etiquette

Welcome to Pawsome Park and Lodge – Everett’s indoor-only dog park. To keep our space clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, please follow the guidelines below.

Keep Your Dog Under Control

• You are responsible for your dog’s behavior at all times.

• Dogs must remain within your sight and be under voice control.

• Dogs without reliable recall should not visit until they have practiced in a calm environment.

• In the event of a scuffle—even if your dog isn’t involved—recall your dog to your side immediately.

• If your dog seems fearful, anxious, or agitated, please take a break or leave the park.

Leashes Required Outside the Park

• All dogs must be on leash when entering and exiting the building.

• Our parking lot and entry areas are public spaces—off-leash dogs outside are a safety risk.

  Scoop the Poop

• Always clean up after your dog.

• Please help keep the indoor space clean by picking up any waste you see, even if it’s not from your dog.

• Dog waste can spread harmful diseases to both pets and humans.

No Aggressive Dogs

• Aggressive dogs are not allowed in the park.

• Dogs showing signs of dominance or hostility may be asked to leave.

• Watch your dog’s behavior and be prepared to intervene quickly.

Children at the Park

• Children are welcome but must remain under direct adult supervision.

• Running, yelling, or quick movements can trigger a dog's chase instinct or anxiety.

• Always ask the dog’s owner before a child approaches or pets a dog.

• Never leave a child unattended inside the dog park.

Collar Safety

• Prong, choke, and spiked collars are not allowed inside the play area.

• These collars can cause serious injuries during play.

Keep Entry Areas Clear

• Avoid lingering near the entry and exit gates.

• Excited dogs entering or exiting need space.

• Keep moving once inside to avoid creating territorial behavior or crowding.

No Intact Dogs Over One Year of Age

• All dogs over 12 months must be spayed or neutered.

• Intact dogs can cause tension and increase the likelihood of dominance-related conflicts.

All dogs must be current on the following core vaccinations:
